Phoenix police: Man shot after pointing gun at officer
Police say a man has been hospitalized after being shot by an officer and a woman is in custody following an officer-involved shooting overnight in north Phoenix. According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers tried to make a traffic stop on a couple riding on a motorcycle, but when they refused to stop, police observed them driving into a neighborhood near Seventh Street and the Loop 101.
