PHOENIX (AP) - Record heat could be hitting the Phoenix metro area early this week as an excessive heat warning is in effect until July 25. National Weather Service meteorologists say highs could reach around 113 degrees Monday and Wednesday with 117 on Tuesday. They say overnight lows could stay in the 90s all three days.
