AIA cancels basketball championship games in Prescott Valley after parents' backlash over weather
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. (FOX 10) - The Arizona Interscholastic Association has canceled the 1A and 2A state basketball tournament games scheduled for this weekend in Prescott Valley. AIA Executive Director David Hines said in a Facebook post on Friday that it is unsafe for the schools to travel to the championship games due to the winter storm affecting much of Arizona.
