Valley woman becomes 100,000th person to be vaccinated at Maricopa County vaccination POD
Kerry Gerle was the 100,000th person to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at Maricopa County's Southeast Valley Vaccination POD on Feb. 6. It's the first in the county to reach that many doses and Gerle was celebrated with balloons and confetti. She's a nurse and a nursing professor who helped coordinate the vaccination response for the H1N1 pandemic.
