1,000 athletes compete in Life Time Triathlon in Tempe
TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - On Sunday morning, seasoned athletes and first-timers competed in the Life Time Triathlon at Tempe Beach Park.
All of the participants had to swim, bike and run for miles.
The 12th annual event includes three levels, the Super Sprint, the Sprint and the International. The toughest race, the International, involves a 1,500-meter swim, a 25-mile bike ride and a run that's approximately six miles
One thousand people competed in the event.
