3 week old kitten tossed from car doing better
TAMPA, Fla. - A tiny, white, three-week-old kitten is responding well to her antibiotics, the SPCA Suncoast says.
The kitten, named "April," was rescued by a Good Samaritan who saw her being tossed from a car.
She was suffering from road rash and pneumonia and was malnourished and dehydrated.
"Our Little April is responding well to antibiotics and although we are force feeding her, she isn't rejecting or vomiting after she eats, all of which are a good sign," the SPCA posted on its Facebook page.
They also said they named her April because April is "Prevention of Cruelty to Animals" month and it was fitting.
You can keep up with her progress on the SPCA Suncoast Facebook page.
