Authorities discover cross-border tunnel in Nogales

NOGALES, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities have discovered a tunnel connecting through Mexico and the United States.

Border Patrol agents working with Mexican officials discovered the tunnel on Friday near a port of entry in Nogales, Arizona.

The tunnel was incomplete and measured about 25 feet, federal authorities said. It was connected to another tunnel that officials closed in January.

The discovery came in the middle of a binational tunnel sweep in Nogales, Arizona.
