Crews working to put out 3-alarm fire at Dallas apartment building

Firefighters are working to put out a 3-alarm fire that heavily damaged a Dallas apartment building Friday afternoon.

Dallas Fire-Rescue crews were called out at 12:39 p.m. for a fire at the Lake June Village Apartments, located in the 1200 block of North Masters Dr.

Responding firefighters saw smoke coming from one of the buildings, and the fire then made its way to the attic space.

There were no injuries reported from the fire.

It's unknown at this time how many apartments were impacted, and the number of residents who will be displaced.
