Man arrested in deadly double shooting at Phoenix 7-Eleven
PHOENIX - A suspect has been arrested after a man was killed and another was seriously hurt in a shooting at a Phoenix 7-Eleven.
Police were called just after 2:15 a.m. on March 2 to a location near 48th Street and McDowell and found two men with gunshot wounds.
One man, identified as 27-year-old Kevin Turner, died from his injuries at the hospital. The second victim is expected to survive his injuries.
Investigators say that some kind of argument broke out between the men and the suspect, and it eventually ended with the alleged shooter opening fire.
On March 3, police said 38-year-old Devalon Jackson was arrested in connection to the shooting. He was booked into jail and is accused of murder.
