Desert Vista HS yearbook highlights controversy

High school yearbooks are being released at schools across the valley as the school year comes to a close.

The Desert Vista High School year book is being released to students Friday. The school had been in the news after six students formed a racial slur by wearing t-shirts with letters after posing for a class photo.

Inside the yearbook the editing staff created a page about the incident and how it went viral.

Students will be given a choice whether they want a book with the pages showing or if they want the pages removed.
