DPS: Multiple fatalities in wrong-way crash on Arizona's Interstate 40

KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) -- Arizona authorities say five people died in a wrong-way crash near Kingman.

Officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety say a wrong-way driver was reported traveling in the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 southwest of Kingman Friday morning. Shortly after, a head-on collision was reported involving the wrong-way vehicle.

DPS says the driver of the wrong-way vehicle Harold Wayne Wickham, 82, died at the hospital, and his passenger Ella Wickham, 90, died on the scene. Both were from Laughlin, NV.

The driver of the other vehicle Tsun Tong Chan, 57, and his two passengers Wai Kam Ngai, 54, and Ching Kwong Chan, 21, all from New York City, were pronounced dead on the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.
