Driver critically injured after crashing into pole

A driver is in critical condition after crashing into a pole near 59th Avenue and Grovers on Wednesday morning.

Glendale Fire Department says a bystander who witnessed the crash was able to pull the driver out and start CPR before paramedics arrived.

The driver was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Only one vehicle was involved.

Officers don't have any information on the driver at this time.
