Firefighters dealing with record heat as they battle fires across the state.

An air tanker is helping crews on the ground attack the flames which are burning brush near Surprise.

The Arizona State Land Department is now fighting the fire. Surprise Fire Department crews are providing brush and tanker trucks on the scene. Over 100 firefighters are on the scene working the blaze.
