Fry's gas stations across the valley empty, little to no gas

PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Fry's gas stations across the valley are running low on gas due to a fuel shortage, leaving drivers to go elsewhere to fill up.

It's happening at many of Fry's Fuel Centers. Right now, there isn't an exact number of stations affected by the gas shortage. But the unfortunate reality is we don't know when the gas is going to be refueled for drivers in the area and throughout the Valley.

We spoke to some customers - they tell us that it really isn't an inconvenience for them because some are retired and not working and they don't travel often.

"He said [they would have gas] Tuesday, so that would be good enough for me," one customer said. "But I'm feeling sorry for those that really need gas. I don't know where else I can go."

For those who do come to the Fry's locations to get cheaper gas with your Fry's Food Card, March 31 would have been that day that your February points would have expired. But they're going to roll over your points through the month of April.

There is no word yet as to when the gas will be refueled.
