Hillary Clinton to campaign in Charlotte Monday, Donald Trump in Charlotte Tuesday

Hillary Clinton spoke at the 117th VFW National Convention at the Charlotte Convention Center Monday.

Up to 12,000 members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States and its Auxiliary are rolling into the Tar Heel State this weekend to elect new leadership and to approve resolutions that will guide the national organization's advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill.

Clinton said revamping the VA would be one of her highest priorities as President.

Donald Trump will also be in North Carolina and is expected to campaign in Winston-Salem Monday.

Trump will campaign in Charlotte on Tuesday, July 26.

The Convention began Saturday at the Charlotte Convention Center. The event is closed to the public.
