Man caught with $4600 worth of meth stuffed in his pants

A man was caught with 1.5 pounds of meth stuffed in the front of his pants while trying to enter the U.S. from Mexico on Sunday, officers say.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested the 37-year-old U.S. citizen from Ontario, California at the Port of San Luis pedestrian crossing in Arizona.

A police dog alerted officers to the drugs, said to be worth $4600 on the street.

The man was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.

The man's name was not released.
