Man found dead in north Phoenix storm drain

PHOENIX - Police say a man was found in a north Phoenix storm drain by a cleaning crew.

According to the Phoenix police, the unidentified man's body was found Monday night in a storm drain under the manhole near Seventh Avenue and Utopia. Police say it's unclear how long the body had been in the storm drain.

The body has been taken to the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.

Phoenix police have reopened the roadway.
