Man wanted for more than 3 decades caught in Kentucky

STANFORD, Ky. (AP) - A Kentucky sheriff says a man wanted in Arizona since the early 1980s has been arrested on a parole violation warrant.

Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger says Darrell Bullock was arrested Monday in Stanford. Folger says the 51-year-old Bullock was a mechanic and was working on a vehicle when he was taken into custody. Bullock had been wanted in Arizona for more than 30 years.

The sheriff says Bullock told authorities he also worked in construction and as an appliance repairman through the years.

Folger says Bullock was on parole for vehicle thefts when he violated his parole.

The sheriff says authorities from Cochise County, Arizona, tipped off his office that Bullock could be living in Kentucky.

Bullock is being held in the Lincoln County Regional Jail pending extradition to Arizona.
