Massive fire burns at RV storage facility in the Gila River Indian Community

A massive fire burned at an RV storage facility in the Gila River Indian Community on Wednesday night.

What we know:

The July 30 fire was near Loop 202 and Kyrene Road near the city of Chandler.

Fire crews got the fire knocked down quickly, and began dousing the RVs in water to make sure hot spots were put out.

"Gila River Fire Department and GRIC Public Safety departments, along with Mutual Aid Fire departments responded to a fire at an RV Storage on Kyrene Road (across from Lone Butte Casino). Several additional RV's caught fire. Crews currently have fire control," the Gila River Police Department said.

Chandler Fire said 10 vehicles were destroyed by the fire.

What we don't know:

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
