MCSO: Man arrested in connection to Wittmann triple murder

WITTMANN, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Authorities say a suspect is in custody in connection to a triple homicide in Wittmann on Thursday night.

According to Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, deputies, along with Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers, responded to the home near Poplar and Myers Streets at about 9:30 p.m. in response to reports of a shooting.

After arriving at the home, deputies and troopers found three men dead.


MCSO says Hermelindo Guzman Sanchez was taken into custody at his home and arrested after it was determined that Guzman Sanchez shot and killed the three men.

MCSO says a get together involving alcohol was taking place at the home where the victims were found.
