Monsoon 2015: Cleanups underway after storms across the Valley

The valley is cleaning up after another dose of monsoon storms.

A group of thunderstorms approached the valley from the east on Friday, bringing strong winds to Apache Junction knocking out power for up to hundreds of customers.

Salt River Project is reporting around 3,500 total customers without power; 1,102 in Scottsdale and 2,400 in Apache Junction.

Arizona Public Service is reporting around 2600 without power; 1,924 in Cave Creek, and 775 in west central Phoenix.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Maricopa and Pinal Counties throughout Friday afternoon.
