New video of June 2016 officer involved shooting in Mesa released

MESA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - NOTE: The body camera footage contained in the video may be graphic or unsettling for some. Discretion is advised.

On Wednesday, Mesa Police released video of an officer-involved shooting that happened in June of 2016.

According to police, the suspect was advancing on officers with a knife when officers opened fire. The shooting incident was captured by three different body cameras.
