NM blizzard shuts down I-10 in southeastern AZ
A blizzard in New Mexico shut down eastbound I-10 in southeastern Arizona because of the dangerous snow conditions near the state border on Sunday.
Arizona Department of Transportation says I-10 was shut down at milepost 352 at about 6:30am Sunday. In New Mexico, the highway has been shut down at milepost 24.
Eastbound I-10 was re-opened at about 10:15am, but blizzard warnings remain in place in New Mexico.
Road conditions in Arizona are available by calling 511 or at www.az511.gov. Arizona remains under a freeze warning until Monday at 9am.
