Page police uncover body buried in yard of home
PAGE, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities say the body of an adult recovered from the yard of a home in Page likely had been there for years.
Page police Lt. Larry Jones said Wednesday that authorities found the skeletal remains this week after digging for 14 hours.
He says police received information late last week about a possible buried body and used cadaver dogs to narrow the search area.
Jones says the home in an older residential area isn't occupied full-time.
The remains have been sent to the medical examiner's office for identification.
The investigation is ongoing.
