Pasco woman 'unsatisfied with service,' throws pizza at victim, deputies say

A Pasco County woman was arrested for throwing pizza on a pizza maker, deputies said.

Officials with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said 28-year-old Syeda Saleem believed the pizza made her child sick, so she threw "several slices of pizza at the victim, striking him in the chest area and face, without his consent." The incident took place at Olivia's Subs & Pizza, located on Seven Springs Boulevard in New Port Richey.

Responding deputies said they noticed the victim's chest and head was covered in tomato sauce. There were also several slices of cheese pizza on the floor.

Investigators said Saleem admitted to throwing the pizza because she was unhappy with the service. She was arrested on a battery charge.
