Pedestrian accident shuts down valley road

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - An accident involving a pedestrian has shut down a valley road on Monday morning.

Phoenix police say Thomas is closed in both directions between 43rd and 47th Avenue after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. Traffic in the area is being re-routed.
