Phoenix Police still looking for suspect in March sexual assault incident

Phoenix Police is still looking for a suspect in connection with a sexual assault incident that happened back in March.

Sgt. Mercedes Fortune says at 12:05 a.m. on March 21, the 38-year-old victim was walking in the area of 32nd Street and Roosevelt when the suspect offered her a ride. The victim accepted the ride, and the suspect drove her to the area of 34th Street and Van Buren, where Fortune says he physically and sexually assaulted the victim, causing serious injuries.

The suspect was identified as a black man, about 25 to 25 years old with a medium build. The suspect has short dreadlocks on the top of his head, a chin strap beard, and possibly full tattoos on both arms. The suspect's car is described as a black or dark-colored 2014 to 2017 model year four-door car that is possibly a Volkswagen CC, with chrome rims.
