Police investigating double stabbing at overnight party

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police are investigating a double stabbing in north Phoenix.

Phoenix police say the stabbing happened at an overnight party near 19th Avenue and Peoria, after a couple became involved in an argument.

After the argument moved outside, the brother of the girlfriend and his friend began hitting and kicking the boyfriend.

The boyfriend then pulled out a knife and slashed the girlfriend's brother and his friend.

Both victims sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a hospital.

The attack is being investigated as a domestic violence incident and the investigation is ongoing by police.
