Police respond to fights at Cesar Chavez HS

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Students and staff at Cesar Chavez High School were ordered to shelter in place following a couple of fights at the school.

The school conducted a modified release, with students being released on a class-by-class basis and being escorted by a teacher.

Police were called and a spokesperson says they are investigating.

It's unclear how many students were fighting, or how many fights took place.
