Police seek suspect accused of assaulting Motel 6 employee

TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police are looking for a man accused of assaulting a Motel 6 employee in Tempe.

Tempe police say the suspect punched and kicked the employee at the Motel 6 near Broadway and Priest Roads at 6:30 p.m. on July 10.

Police say prior to the assault, the suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation. After the assault, the suspect ran away from the area.

The suspect is described as a 30-year-old Black male, 6'0" and 200 to 220 pounds. He has short dark hair, a goatee, and was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, light-colored camouflaged shorts and black and white tennis shoes.
