Police serve search warrant at Hamilton High School

Police served a search warrant at Hamilton High School on Thursday, in connection to a ongoing investigation surrounding a hazing case that involves the school's football team.

Chandler police said the hazing suspects, all football players, brutally hazed four teammates, who were all under the age of 15.

Several football players are facing charges, including 17-year-old Nathaniel Thomas, who's being charged as an adult in the case. Two other students are facing juvenile charges, but officials have said they are looking at charging the two as adults as well.

In addition, the school's former head football coach, Steve Belles, was first "reassigned to home", and then replaced as head coach altogether.

According to police, they were at the high school to collect records and documents. E-mails between teachers at the school and staff members indicate a parent of an alleged victim has notified a teacher that her son had been a victim of hazing. A teacher then e-mailed district officials about repeatedly hearing rumors of hazing on the football team.

Police officials said they can't comment on the specific evidence that was seized from campus.
