Police: Suspect arrested in shooting death of teen over gaming console

Police have arrested a man in connection to the fatal shooting of a valley teen over the weekend.

Glendale police tell Fox 10 that 19-year-old Aaron Ott has been arrested and charged in the homicide of a 16-year-old teen that happened on Sunday evening.

Police responded to the shooting just before 5 p.m. and found the victim, who had been shot in his driveway. The teen was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

During their investigation, detectives learned the victim had arranged to sell a gaming console through an online website.

Detectives believe the victim was shot during a robbery.

Police located and arrested Ott after his getaway vehicle was captured on nearby residential surveillance cameras.
