Quintuplets born in Arizona head home to Utah

"Good morning, Lincoln. Good morning, Daisy girl," Skyler Scott said.

Skyler Scott snapped one more picture of his newborn babies during a final moment in Arizona.

"We're heading home, we have been here since just after Christmas, (we) relocated for our pregnancy, so a specialist, John Elliot, could oversee everything," he said.

The quintuplets, born prematurely, are only 11 weeks old, but their story long proceeds them.

"My water broke at 21-and-a-half weeks, which is too soon," Jamie Scott said. "Usually, when you lose one, you lose all."

Miraculously, Jamie did not go into labor and delivered the quints at 29 weeks. Violet, Daisy, Logan, Lincoln and Lily spent several weeks in the NICU but were released.

"Arizona has been amazing to us, but we have grandmas on deck, lots of siblings in Utah, lots of family, it's going to take a village... we have a village," Jamie said.

Family helped load the vehicles and the journey home is about six hours, not including stops, feedings, and breaks.

Each and every member of the Scott family is ready to start making new memories.

"I've learned to live in the present moment and to be grateful for what is, and each day that I get to have these babies is a miracle in of itself," Jamie said.
