Reward offered after Home Depot worker is threatened with knife
PHOENIX - A reward is offered to help find a Home Depot worker who was threatened by a theft suspect with a knife.
Police say the theft and attempted assault happened on Monday, January 29 at about 3:20pm. Police say the suspect entered the Home Depot at Bell and Tatum in Phoenix. The suspect is accused of stealing a Dewalt hammer drill from the tool section of the store.
Officers say when he was confronted by a loss prevention officer at Home Depot, the suspect pulled out a knife and the worker backed away. The suspect left in a silver four-dour Acura.
