SILENT WITNESS: Suspect follows employee into gas station office, steals money

Phoenix Police is asking for help identifying a man who stole money from a Circle K.

On November 19, 2017 at 6:10 a.m., the suspect entered the gas station located near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road. He purchased food items.

An employee took money out of a register, and the suspect watched this. The suspect then followed the employee into the gas station's office.

The video shows the suspect exiting the office with the money in hand.

Sgt. James Rothschild says the suspect was wearing a distinctive uniform type shirt that had shoulder patches.

He is identified as a black male, about 20 years old, at 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 180 pounds.
