Suspect sought in shooting of wheelchair-bound man

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police are searching for the gunman accused of shooting a man in a wheelchair in north Phoenix.

Phoenix police say the drive-by shooting happened near a Circle K at 15th Avenue and Bell Road at 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

Police say the 60-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No suspect information has been released, but police say investigators are looking through surveillance footage from nearby businesses for any clues related to the shooting.
