Take 'doga' sessions with your furry friend in the Valley

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Now that the weather is cooling down, people are taking out their mats for some doga.

Doga is yoga with your furry companion.

This weekend kicks off this fall's doga sessions at the Camelback Village. The class starts with a yappy hour of beer and wine, and then once the mats are out the relaxing begins.

"So yoga means union and dogs are pack animals so this comes very naturally to them," said Sarah Pyper a fitness instructor. "They love having a union and it's just a great time for you to bond with your dog."

The next doga session will be next Saturday, October 13. Organizers will be accepting $5 donations that will go toward Valley animal rescues.
