Tampa schools locked down; shots fired
TAMPA (FOX 13) - Several Tampa Bay area schools are on lockdown after reports of shots fired nearby.
Tampa police officers responded to the 1600 block of East Cayuga Street for a report of gunshots. Two males were reported to be arguing and then firing at each other.
According to police, the shooting was not school related. However, as a precautionary measure the following schools have been placed on "lock-in" status:
The subjects were both black males. One was last seen wearing a green hoodie, tan cargo shorts and riding a lime green BMX-style bicycle. The second subject was reportedly wearing a white t-shirt and jean shorts.
Shell casings were found in the area. No victim has been located.
