Tohono O'odham Nation fights with lawmakers over casino

The Tohono O'odham Nation has taken legal action against Arizona lawmakers, who they say are trying to stop a new casino from being built.

Lawyers for the Tohono O'odham Nation want Gov. Doug Ducey and Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich to stop interfering in the building of the casino.

The tribe says they have evidence showing that the gaming director was going to allow operation of the casino until Gov. Ducey and Brnovich stepped in.

Gov. Ducey and Brnovich say they were just consulting with the gaming director about the casino's license application.
