Top baby names of 2024: Official list from Social Security Administration

The top baby names for 2024 are in, and while there is one newcomer on the list, the top names remain largely unchanged.

Sofia in, Luna out

By the numbers:

The boys’ top 10 names were all the same, just in a slightly different order. Meanwhile, the only new name on the girls’ top name list was "Sofia," which knocked "Luna" out of the ranking. "Luna" dropped to the No. 13 spot.
