Two hikers stuck on 4 peaks mountain

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Rescue crews saved two hikers who became stranded while hiking up Four Peaks Mountain in rural Maricopa County.

MCSO officials warned the public to avoid the mountain during inclement weather.

A spokesperson for the agency said two hikers called for help after becoming stuck near Highway 87 and Highway 188.

Gila County deputies were able to rescue both hikers Thursday afternoon.
