Uptown murder victim allegedly stalked by boyfriend's ex-girlfriend

Police documents indicate the victim in an Uptown apartment garage shooting was allegedly stalked by her new boyfriend's ex-girlfriend.

According to a search warrant affidavit obtained by FOX4, the ex-girlfriend conspired with Crystal Cortes -- a 23-year-old woman who is charged with capital murder of dentist Kendra Hatcher.

Cortes reportedly said the ex-girlfriend offered to pay her to drive a man to Hatcher's parking garage using a borrowed Jeep Cherokee, where the man would rob Hatcher.

Cortes told investigators that the woman offered $500 in exchange for Hatcher's driver's license.

The warrant also says the ex-girlfriend used an iPhone to track Hatcher's movements -- apparently to determine when she was home.

Police searched the ex-girlfriend's apartment, located near Uptown, looking for Hatcher's driver's license, cell phone and other items. However, she has not been arrested or charged with any crimes.

Cortes was arrested by Dallas police on Sunday and remains jailed.

The warrant states that the ex-girlfriend, 33, ended a two-year relationship with Hatcher's current boyfriend earlier this year.

Police are still searching for the man who actually shot and killed hatcher in the parking garage of the Gables Park 17 on Sept. 2.
