Young actor has part in Allegiant movie

A young boy from the Valley is playing a big role in the latest movie in the Divergent Series called Allegiant.

This kid can do it all, and he's just 11-years-old. Unfortunately, Billy had to miss out on the press tour for the movie because it was in New York and he couldn't miss that much school.

Billy Johnston already has the confidence of a seasoned performer.

"Those parts took about a week, a little bit over a week to do, it's a very hard process it's just I'm so good, I make it look easy," said Billy Johnston.

You can catch Johnston in recent hits like Daddy's Home where he rubbed shoulders with Mark Wahlberg, Will Farrell, and Tony Hawk, or in the movie Allegiant. Johnston says booking the gig was an amazing feeling.

"I felt excited, it was a nice thing to know, oh I just got this, and it's a movie that's actually going to do good, a blockbuster," said Johnston.

Although he talks about his passion for the silver screen, don't expect the young actor to have loose lips about his roles.

"I can't really tell you more about the role because it kind of gives away the full main plot of the entire movie, and I don't want to spoil it for the viewers," said Johnston.

Billy says he likes to travel and meet new people and see new places. He doesn't like the planes, not because he's scared, but because of the ear popping.
