D-Day - June 6, 1944. It was 80 years ago that more than 160,000 Allied troops landed along the beaches of Normandy, France. It was a pivotal conflict and the beginning of the end of World War II. While many have learned about that day through books or movies, few know what it was really like to be there. FOX 10's Christina Carilla spoke with WWII veteran Garland James who lives in Gold Canyon and was there on D-Day.
