Officers rescue orphaned bear cub after car accident kills its entire family

As police officers in Massachusetts responded to a car accident that killed a mother bear and two of her cubs, they heard squealing and found a frightened third cub that had climbed a nearby tree after losing its family. The officers rescued the tiny orphaned cub and cared for it until wildlife veterinarians could take the little one.

Kitten season underway and Arizona Humane needs help with fosters, donations

The Arizona Humane Society is in one of its busiest seasons of the year and is in need of help. They are already over capacity for their bottle baby ICU, which cares for newborn kittens. With kitten season underway, AHS is hosting a virtual kitten shower to prepare for thousands of baby felines it will care for this season. Items in need include formula, nursing kits, warmers and scales. AHS is also in desperate need of foster heroes to care for these tiny orphans until they are eight weeks of age and ready for adoption.
