Ahead of the 22nd anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the U.S., many communities and schools are starting to honor those who perished that day by giving back, and on Sept. 8, a group of students with the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) hosted an event at their Bistro 13 restaurant in Mesa to honor first responders.
