DPS truck hit by driver during traffic stop
An Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper was not hurt when his truck was hit by another driver along State Route 347 near Maricopa. The DPS sergeant was not in the truck at the time of the crash, but the truck's emergency and hazard lights were activated. The driver who hit the DPS truck suffered non-life-threatening injuries. DPS says impairment is suspected in the crash.
