This year's monsoon season will start on Saturday, June 15, and on Wednesday, Phoenix city officials are hosting the annual Monsoon Preparedness Day, in an effort to make sure the city is prepared. FOX 10's Dominique Newland reports.

The hot weather in Arizona is not only impacting people, as officials with Liberty Wildlife say they took in a record number of hawks over the weekend as a result of the heat. FOX 10's Desiree Fluellen has more.
