Arizonans are reacting to triple-digit temps, which they think have arrived a bit early. By this week, we're expected to hit our first 110-degree day as a days-long Excessive Heat Warning is in effect. FOX 10's Ashlie Rodriguez has this story.

Spring Fire burning near Sunflower

The Spring Fire started on Saturday, June 1, and has grown to an estimated 4,097 acres. The fire is 50% contained.

Rattlesnake, bobcat battle for a shady spot

As the heat picks up, even the animals are doing what they can to stay cool, and that includes getting a bit scrappy. A video out of Saguaro National Park shows a bobcat and a rattlesnake battling it out for a prime spot of shade right outside the park's visitor center. According to park officials, local wildlife tries to take advantage of the lower visitation during the heat of the summer. It appears this fight ended in a draw as both animals disappeared into different bushes in the area.

3 wildfires still burning in Tonto National Forest

Several wildfires are still burning northeast of the Valley in the Tonto National Forest, and the fires, namely the Catahoula Fire, the Adams Fire, and the Spring Fire, are burning with little to no containment at this time.
