Arizona House speaker Russell "Rusty" Bowers was honored in Washington D.C. on May 22. He's one of five people receiving the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award. They were selected for their courage in protecting democracy in the United States. Bowers was chosen for dismissing efforts by Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani to overturn election results in Arizona.
